Who the heck is this Greg Zajac guy, anyway?
Ya, that's a good question. Who am I?
I consider myself a versatile creative media producer with extensive experience across various aspects of the film industry. Over the past 15 years, I've been instrumental in building a boutique animation studio alongside the talented Solis family. Each of us brought unique skills to the table—I contributed my writing, acting expertise, and post-production proficiency. My keen eye for composition, design, and innovative thinking has been pivotal in developing numerous intellectual properties (IPs).
In addition to my role as an editor, VFX artist, writer, director, and producer, I am also a working actor. Spending significant time on set allows me not only to perform but also to study the techniques of top directors in the industry. I bring this knowledge and insight to enhance every aspect of my career.
When I have free time, I like to spend it either reading feature film scripts, writing screenplays, mastering my peanut butter cookie recipie, traveling, doing photography, building motorcycles, renovating, watching films in the theater, and practicing stop-motion animation in my home studio. These activities not only fuel my creativity but also deepen my understanding of storytelling and production processes. Especially cookie making.
I'm also a dad, and being a dad is pretty rad, but sometimes it makes you sad, becuase your kid does something bad.
